The Banner renovation is now complete and it's back in Wheatley Hill.  Plans are now being prepared for a celebration in  May 2012, when it will be unfurled & back on display again

 Wheatley Hill Heritage Centre is small building of architectural beauty,
 The Museum which originally served the village as a Chapel Of Rest,
houses a permanent exhibition of an East Durham colliery home,
usually set in 1919, with a temperary exhibition every six months.
